Tutoring

Mrs. Ottilia Machipisa (Masimu) is a proud high school math teacher. She has been a math teacher at Southeast Guilford High School located in Greensboro, North Carolina since August of 2005. Prior to that, she worked as a high school math teacher for one year at Dudley High School. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education and continued her education to receive a Master’s Degree in Special Education in 2011. Along with teaching high school, Mrs. Masimo provides one-on-one math tutoring for various age groups ranging from kindergarten through college from all over the United States. She is passionate about what she does and is always eager to help any student who wishes to learn and appreciate mathematics. Her other interests include gardening, spending time with her family, and cooking. She grew up in Zimbabwe and enjoys sharing her background with others.
