Kendra Burnette, originally from Durham, North Carolina and raised in Cary, developed a passion for reading, history, and writing during her early years. Her upbringing, heavily influenced by her grandmother’s meticulous household care, sparked her interest in cleaning and organizing spaces.

Graduating from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2007 with a degree in Sociology, Kendra explored various career paths, including retail management, staffing, and legal assistance. However, her fondness for transforming home spaces led her to establish Klean Bee’s Nest in January 2019.

By April 2020, Kendra devoted herself entirely to her business, leaving her legal assistant role. Outside work, she indulges in reading, poetry, documentaries, museum visits, home decor, and exploring local wineries.

Active in Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Incorporated, Kendra is also a proud member of the National Association of Black Professional Organizers (NABPO).
